Welcome to HRG Of West Michigan - Chapter of SHRM

We are pleased to share exciting news about the future of HR leadership in West Michigan. The Human Resources Group of West Michigan (HRG) and the Association of Human Resources Management (AHRM) are coming together to form a unified organization: SHRM Grand Rapids.

This partnership represents an important step forward for our community. With both HRG and AHRM having long-standing affiliations with SHRM, this merger allows us to combine our strengths and create a more dynamic and supportive environment for our members. We are especially proud to announce that SHRM Grand Rapids will operate as a Dual Membership Organization with SHRM, giving members access to both national SHRM resources and strong, local networking opportunities.

Through this merger, members can expect expanded benefits, including a broader professional network, more diverse development opportunities, and a stronger, unified voice for the HR profession in West Michigan.

As we move through this transition a new website will be launched shortly, serving as a central hub for event registration, certification tracking, and member resources. AHRM.net will maintain information during the transition.
